CARBON INTENSITYReduce your carbon footprint
This application provides an indicative trend of the carbon intensity of the electricity system in Great Britain (GB) up to 48 hours ahead of real-time. It uses the UK National Grid's public carbon intensity database & can be used to help to plan your electricity usage (such as using a washing machine or charging an electric vehicle) at times of low carbon intensity, to reduce your carbon footprint. |
PIRATE DOGS OF SPACE'Fun recreation of an old classic' ****
Pirate Dogs of Space is a simple, clean and challenging retro 2D shoot-em-up for android devices. It’s 1980 all over again, but this time without the coin slot. Just 8-bits and the truth. Let's do this. |
DARK WATER'Cool game'
***** Dark Water is my simple love letter to the gravity-based lander genre and draws inspiration from a number of lander arcade and PC games. I think it's the prettiest game I've ever made. |
POLYGONOLOGYEndless geometric challenges
Polygonology is a unique blend of simple but challenging gameplay and geometric learning, set to a calm and relaxing ambient soundtrack. You have all the time in the world, and yet timing is everything as you attempt to light up every side of an endless stream of randomly generated polygons. No one knows why. |

S-TYPE WARS IN SPACEA stroll down memory lane
S-type asteroids are asteroids with a spectral type that is indicative of a siliceous (i.e. stony) mineralogical composition. If you find yourself amongst a field of these, you're in for a whole irregular-shaped world of trouble. Worse still, those old Pirate Dogs have got themselves some nifty second-hand UFOs from the South Shields Ocean Beach Pleasure Park and are determined to keep the minerals for their disturbingly escalating weapons programme. PANGIn the beginning, there was the paddle ...
My first games console was a Grandstand Colour Programmable SD-070 and I think it was unwrapped one Christmas in the late 1970s. The 'programmable' element came via 3 switches that could be flipped from 'amateur' to 'professional' and an auto-serve switch. It's fair to say, it required a fertile imagination to enjoy to the full, but at that age, that wasn't lacking. It also featured an analogue joystick that remains one of the best ever made. Pang is just a simple note of thanks to whoever came up with this stuff. You gave two excited brothers many hours of fun. Enter 'pang' if prompted for a password |
