GODOT ENGINEGodot is an advanced, feature-packed, multi-platform 2D and 3D open source game engine.
There are many game engines available to budding game & app developers, that provide excellent environments for game development, but Godot Engine is both free and open-source and has a terrific, friendly and helpful community. For me, Godot provides just the right blend of flexible coding with low-level abstraction. It provides an excellent workflow and a python-esque scripting language, as well as the ability to code modules directly using C++ and other languages.
